I'M HOME!

Oh my word, what an amazing 5 months i've had! It's lovely to be home!

Farewell Folie..

Okay so we had the most amazing last day, the folie was hilarious, we had the best time! The bbq was wicked and the awards ceremony was just too funny, what an incredible way to end an incredible season! I can't say it all ended on a good note.. but guys, what a cracking bloody season we had! Here are some snaps of the last day ..

THE DUCS DE SAVOIE IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED DOWN!

So close down has basically finished, cannot bloody believe it! It's been an intense 3 days but now the hard work is over, we have a day off and can PARTY! The folie douce is calling our name, we're having a big bbq and an awards ceremony too and i cannot wait! I'm sure we'll finish this season in the best way possible and what way to end it with some amazing people! Also, i just wanna say a huge great big massive thank you to my new and very late-comer roommate Maria! i was very sad at losing my pals but she came and cheered me right up! you've been my saving grace these last 2 weeks and you're utterly hilarious, so a huge thank you for making the end of my season mate! Just take the time to say a huge thank you to everyone else i met this season, you're all amazing people, and i'll miss you all! i know here i've made friends for life, and that's pretty special! And to our CCM Tommy- you made this another amazing season for me and you're a wicked manager, thanks a bunch!  I think this will be my last post until i'm home now as i need to fully pack and put everything away, my laptop is staying as close to me as possible, i'm not having it smash like last year falling off the bus.. nightmare! I'm praying this journey home is as stress free as possible, and i can actually stay on the coach with everyone this year! Anyway, before i depress myself with that thought, i'm gonna get some sleep before tomorrow, UK we're coming for you.. but first things first and most importantly, the Folie is calling.. laters! x

DAD'S BIRTHDAY! and it's snowed?!

I would just like to wish my wonderful dad a very Happy Birthday! i miss you millions and absolutely cannot wait to see you all when i'm home next week! have a great day pops, lots of love!  XXXXXXXXXX

Okay so also i packed away my skis (crying) and it snows!?!?! bloody weather, it hasn't snowed in weeks and the day i pack all my essentials away- skis and poles, it snows! typical..

Last week!

I genuinely cannot believe our last week is nearly over, we've had some lovely children this week and it makes me sad to think that this time next week, we'll be on our way home! This week i was on snow club with Rory and beginners with Stew, and we took our kids to the park and they decorated the floor with chalk, hilarious times! chalk and children = lots of chalk covered clothes and hopefully not some angry parents.. but children will be children hey! Also, i've started packing, and i'm really quite sad! either way, day off tomorrow and then we let close down commence! Only a few more posts left to go now, i hope you've enjoyed reading my blog, it's nearly time for me to pack away my skis! crazy times, speak soon dudes x

Stripping 5.4 :(

As the season comes to an end, it means you have to start clearing your flat out, we made it so homely with bits we picked up as the season went on, it's a very sad process! Our wall looks so bare i can't believe it, it looks so boring and i'm not okay with that! I'm taking some of it home thought to put on my wall, as we've got some great bits that i want to keep!!! Upstairs looks so weird too, so empty and bare and i don't like it, I'm used to photos and posters! not plain beige walls :( yes, i know this is a photo of a wall, but most of you didn't see it in it's prime! The bad news now means it's nearly time to pack, and the dreaded deep clean! it means it's coming to an end very quickly, NOOOOOOOOOO!

As if we come home this month?!

I actually cannot believe it! We come home this month, where the hell have the past 4 months gone?! I'm having the most amazing time, though sometimes it's pretty rubbish without my pals though, i miss you guys so much! It's not the same getting ready for nights out and stuff, but hey ho, hope you're all having fun at home! It's been such another great season, i've met some AMAZING people who i'll never forget and made so many memories along the way, i've been so lucky to have been able to do this 2 years in a row, honestly it's been incredible! And just so you all know, it's nothing at all like chalet girl! i definitely had this expectation when i went on my first season and oh my god was i wrong, as was everyone else haha, but everyone is in it together, and at the end of the day we are out here to work, but days off and skiing when we can are perks of what we do! don't get me wrong the nights out and skiing are absolutely insane, but we work very hard, long hours and are committed to our jobs, but it is SO worth it! I hope you all enjoy my blog, i wanted to give people an insight of what it's like to be on a season, but if you ever get the chance, do it, you won't regret it!
